Equipped with a triple camera from Leica with the most number of pixels in the realm of smartphones, the Huawei P20 Pro targets photography enthusiasts who want simplicity on their devices.

This positioning was strengthened by the statement of Huawei Device Indonesia's Deputy Country Director, Lo Khing Seng. For him, the Huawei P20 Pro is suitable for mobile photographers. The quality is equivalent to a reliable camera like a DSLR. So you don't need to bring a DSLR to capture moments or capture interesting objects.
When before a more detailed review of the photography zone offered by Huawei on its P20 Pro feature, I first want to discuss the totality of overwriting this feature first.
Review
Design
The triple camera on the P20 Pro feature is not one of the attractive energies offered by Huawei. This feature has a premium design with very beautiful coloring and has become a smartphone style trensetter.
When held, the Huawei P20 Pro is still quite safe with a size of 155.0 millimeters (H) x 73.9 millimeters (W) x 7.8 millimeters (D) and weighs 180g. But it's a little glossy when held, so you have to be on the lookout. Very thin bezels and an attractive screen-to-body ratio appear on the Huawei P20 Pro.

Huawei places the power button and volume rocker lined up on the right side of the smartphone, on the other hand, on the left side there is a SIM Card slot that can fit 2 SIM cards. Huawei doesn't prepare an external storage slot on the P20 Pro.
On the base side of the smartphone there is an audio hole and a USB Type C slot that can act like an energy charger. At the top of the front surface of the P20 Pro, Huawei places a speaker loop adjacent to the selfie camera located in the screen notch. In contrast, at the base of the surface there is a fingerprint sensor.
On the reverse surface, you can see 3 Leica cameras perched in the upper left corner, accompanied by an LED flash light. In the bottom left corner of the back surface of the smartphone is the Huawei logo. Huawei does not include a jack for audio, so users must use a converter if they want to use earphones.
Performance
The kitchen is running, the Huawei P20 Pro is reinforced by a chipset made by Huawei itself, the Kirin 970 combined with an Octa-core + i7 co-processor, 4 × Cortex A73 2.36 GHz + 4 × Cortex A53 1.8 GHz. 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM are embedded in this phone.
Even though it takes a position like a photography smartphone, the Huawei P20 Pro is also very safe to be invited to play mobile gaming such as PUBG games that require great graphic quality.
Huawei P20 Pro runs the Android OS 8.1 wrapped in the EMUI 8.1 interface.
The power source is supported by a 4000 mAh battery plus Battery Management, which is also powered by AI technology.
This phone is supported by water and dust repellent features with IP67 certification and IEC certificate 60529.
About audio, this phone is supported by Dolby Atmos. So to use it to observe music, it will definitely be very entertaining.
Based on the measurements I took, the sound this feature produces when looking at music reaches 86db.
Photography
The Huawei P20 Pro has a main lens with a 40MP RGB resolution with an aperture of f / 1.8 which is equipped with the Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) feature. The sharpness of the tone, the photos, the faster focus are produced by the main camera of the P20 Pro.
There is also a 20MP monochrome lens with an aperture of f / 1.6 and an 8MP sensor accompanied by a telephoto lens and an aperture of f / 2. 4. The Leica's ISPs sensor is able to balance patterns automatically when taking photos.
The main camera and selfie have a faster focus. The main camera is equipped with a 3X optical zoom feature. This smartphone can also carry out 5x hybrid zoom and 10x digital zoom.
This Hybrid Zoom technology is one of the new camera features that Huawei has tucked into the P20 Pro. The P20 Pro is an early Huawei smartphone that uses a telephoto lens to increase zoom expertise by up to 5 times.
The main camera of the P20 Pro is supported by the latest 1/1.7 type sensor which is able to get used to taking photos with low light or at night.
Combined with great sensitivity thanks to an adjustable ISO of up to 102400, the equivalent of a reliable camera.
The selfie camera is supported by a 24MP sensor and an f / 2.0 aperture, also equipped with 3D facial modeling technology powered by AI technology. This technology is able to explore the contours of your face and make adjustments to make selfie images more natural.
There is also a 3D Portrait Lighting feature that can create studio-quality lighting effects, realistic 3D features and captivating selfie images with healthy skin tones, subtle facial details. The Huawei AIS (AI Image Stabilization) feature also appears, which makes this smartphone more normal without a tripod or gimbal.
This feature should be helpful when shooting video, it supports six-axis stabilization and slow-motion, from 120fps to 960fps, to create videos that are clear, more detailed, and incredibly slow-motion. This feature is also equipped with AI technology, combining technology and art to introduce a revolutionary smartphone experience.
To be able to use this AI feature the user must activate it in the camera Settings menu by activating the AI master. The Huawei P20 Pro camera will automatically know the scene that is the object of the image, whether it is Food, Greenery, Stage Performance, Blue Sky and so on.
