Is this smartphone the first time in the world with a 6000mah battery capacity? not. Realme C15 is indeed always aggressively to bring advanced technology, flagship features brought to the mid-range, new features brought to entry-level. Previously, Realme C11 was able to show a new design that was far more riveting. Not only the camera design, reality also brings Nightscape features, which previously did not exist on smartphones in the upper class.
When Realme C15 was launched, they wanted to present a 6,000mAh Mega Battery flagship. The battery is big, especially Realme C15 is also supported by 18 Watt Quick Charge technology. These two technologies first appeared, precisely in the C-series realm known as the Entry-Level King.
What is this smartphone like as a whole? It's just good in the battery, or in all the features it has? Here is a review of Realme C15
Design
Feels a little thicker and heavier than other Realme smartphones. What makes it heavy? it's natural because the battery is big. But still awake, with a thickness of 9.8mm and a weight of 209 grams. Think of it like holding a flagship smartphone that has the same weight. From the front, there appears a mini-drop notch with 3 thin bezel sides except for a slightly thick base bezel. There are volume and power buttons on the right, empty at the top and triple SIM slot on the top left. While at the bottom there is an audio jack 3, 5mm,
microphone, micro-USB port and mono speaker.
The rear body continues a fresh design from the Realme C11. Similar, but made slightly different. The logo of reality is always at the bottom, with the material of the box cameras that are up to date.
While the pattern confirms me with some of the old smartphone realme series, using a geometric gradient design. Gradation seems to be fresher, always interesting to be seen even though entering the newcomer class.
Appearing without a soft case in the sales package, the reality of the Seagull Silver C15 type that I tried is not easy to get dirty with doff surface. It's not slippery when I hold it. If you want a more patterned and a little more black, you can sort Marine Blue style options.
Screen
Dimensions 6.5 inches, has a HD + resolution, screen ratio to body 88, 7% and use a mini-drop notch. The Realme C15 screen is the same as other affordable realm smartphones, and this is not a bad thing. The IPS panel used has a pretty good brightness and saturation, is patterned but doesn't go too far, and is pretty accurate in its class.
Large screen suitable for use like entertainment media. What is unfortunate, this smartphone does not appear with Widevine L1 certification, so if you watch the Netflix series, can not be up to 720p resolution. Also there is no notification LED, but there is an option to turn on the screen every time there is a notification going into the smartphone.
Camera
Well, the first time in the C-Series, the current C15 has been using the Quad Camera configuration.
The main sensor has a resolution of 13MP with f / 2.2 openings and has supported PDAF.
Then there is an 8MP f / 2.2 ultra wide-angle camera with a viewing angle reaching 119 degrees. the realm of serving features such as HDR and Chroma Boost, to improve image saturation practically.
The two additional camera sensors are pretty unique, each having a 2MP resolution. One sensor is dark white or BW, the other is said with a Retro lens. What is a Retro lens?
This feature can be found when the camera uses portrait mode, then selection of the two filters found on the very right. The camera wants to simulate an old image with a distinctive texture in the corner or edge of the frame.
Both the main camera, ultra-wide camera and 8MP front camera can be used to record video up to 1080p full HD resolution at 30fps. Unfortunately, not yet equipped with EIS, so your hands must be more normal so that the footage is not shaken.
No less special, the camera has also been equipped with extraordinary fashion Nightscape. This fashion works for turning cameras, both wide and ultra-wide sensors, will take some pictures with different exposures which afterwards are combined into one final image.
Really enough to make the image brighter and clearer in poor lighting conditions.
Features
This smartphone has implemented the UI realm based on Android 10. The customization is quite abundant, ranging from themes and fonts that can be exchanged, dark fashion that can change the appearance of third-party applications as well, and much more. When you need time to take a break, the fashion focus feature appears to turn off notifications, so you can focus more on taking breaks or even more meditation.
Realme C15 comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the reverse body. The sensor is quite accurate and flash in scanning, even though the fingers are a little wet though. And thanks to the slightly improved front camera, the face unlock feature is also pretty reliable.
The presence of a fingerprint sensor is suitable for alternative users who often wear masks on their faces when a pandemic occurs.
Performance
MediaTek Helio G35 is selected as a core reality of this smartphone. Entry class chipset, but it is still listed in the gaming series. With an octa core CPU that has the highest clockspeed at 2, 3GHz and 12nm fabrication, the performance feels fast.
Realme C15 will come with 3GB 4GB LPDDR4x RAM option, internal memory options are also relieved, 64GB and 128GB as well as a dedicated microSD card slot. In totality, pretty good performance. Not slow, but not special either.
For playing games like PUBG:
Mobile with smooth - medium graphic settings is quite easy.
It's normal, performance is certainly not the main advantage of this large-battery smartphone.
Not only battery, smartphone expertise bulldozes the activities of smartphones every day is also emphasized in the reality of this C15.
Battery
If it is not a large capacity, smartphone realm charging technology is usually very fast. Now, in the Realme C15 which is actually an entry-level smartphone, the realm instead mixes 2 innovations together. 6. 000 mAh plus 18W Quick Charge
In Realme Smartphone, that used to have a 5,000 mAh battery, it's only natural to hold up to 2 days of consumption. With the Realme C15, it's easy to use for up to 3 days, with consumption that tends to be light, of course yes. Whereas if it is more intensive, it is often made to watch drama while streaming, it can run for 2 days with screen-on time up to 9-10 hours.
You can activate the Extraordinary Power Saving Fashion feature that can increase the usage time to a few more hours. Interestingly, Extraordinary Power Saving Mode
When you need to replenish energy, it only takes 30 minutes to increase energy by 25%
Whereas for full filling, it needs to be close to 3 hours. Once again, this is very normal considering the large capacity of the battery. The standby time can reach 57 days, aka almost 2 months!
Conclusion
The Realme is really targeting this smartphone for Gizmo friends who, arguably, have low battery anxiety or don't want the smartphone battery to run out. With a 6,000 mAh battery in the Realme C15, you can use this smartphone for up to 3 days moreover without the need for a charge, and the charging is also listed which is very flash in its class.
The accumulation of retro cameras behind becomes a gimmick which, well, is enough for an exclamation. The performance is also not very fast, nor is the quality of the camera. Also called entry class, cannot excel in all sides. At the very least, the features provided are still okay for daily use, the designation of the Realme C15 is appropriate for making a new Entry-Level King option.
