Android 4.2 has always worn the name Jelly Bean. Google hasn't shared the new K series name on this new Android. We can clearly guess that Android 4.2 is not going to be much different from its predecessor, Android 4.1, which also bears the code name Jelly Bean.

A little to remember, changes are made from Ice Cream Sandwich, Google has embedded Google Now and Project Butter in Jelly Bean. Of course, both of these features were improved in Android 4. 2. Well, the significant changes in Android Jelly Bean 4.2 are the following:

1. UI

The Quick Settings Panel can be accessed by swiping your smartphone using 2 fingers from the notification bar to the bottom or clicking the button at the top right of the Notification Panel. This panel contains shortcuts for accessing some of the basic settings needed, namely Profile, Brightness, shortcuts to Settings, WiFi, Usage Information, Battery Usage, Airplane, Bluetooth and Alarms.

In the profile section you can change users by using the multiple user login system feature, which is implemented on Android 4. 2. Not only the camera, this time you can increase the widgets on the lockscreen such as Calendar, Clock, Gmail, Messaging, and some other 3rd party applications that have improved the use of this widget. Some public comments say that this feature is not very useful.

In our opinion, Google made this feature as a bonus for users who are quite strict in securing their gadgets using a lock system. With this feature, other users can use applications such as cameras and flashlights without needing to open the system lock, otherwise other applications need confirmation to open the lock system first.

Unfortunately we know that there is a bug on this lock screen, because several times when we press the lock / unlock button, the screen closes but after that it turns back on in the lock-screen position (this is expected to occur if the feature faces a fairly large process). This matter makes us need to press the lock button again to turn off the display considering that the display is the dominant battery consumer.

Gesture typing (or also known as Swype) is a feature that has been implemented in various other Android mods, and this time Google includes it on Android 4. 2. You can compose words without typing, you only need to rub your finger through the letters of the word that you want to compile.

For those of you who hear rumors that gesture typing can only know English, we have a little good news if gesture typing uses a dictionary in the system, so you can put some words in world, which you often write, and you can use gestures. typing to call the word.

2. Clock, Timer, Stopwatch

Google improved the international time display, timer, stopwatch and changed the alarm design. These new features are quite interesting, especially for the timer and stopwatch that can be monitored through the notification panel.

3. Camera Apps

This time, the Android camera application faces a very significant change. Camera settings can be executed by holding touch focus. Settings for flash, exposure and white balance are also very easy to access. The zooming feature has now changed from slider to pinch-to-zoom.

Some of the problems that arise in the public are beating the High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature. This feature button is located between the change camera and flash, but this feature relies on the camera hardware so that it only appears in the feature that the camera has the expertise to take HDR photos. For example, the Galaxy Nexus does not get the HDR feature.

However, it should be your note that taking 360 degree photos is not easy! Initially, it took quite a long time to take photos in totality (you have to be pretty shy to shoot at various points while turning around for a long time).

Second, if you take it with varying angles, the result will show a lot of lines or objects that do not match their location.

Third, during the photo-taking process that we went through with the Android feature with a dual-core processor, there were some lags, especially when we often tried to take screenshots of the photo-taking process but ran aground (the results crashed when opened).

So, training makes perfect. We also haven't created the best angle for taking this photo sphere until this review has been tried (fyi: has taken 5 photo sphere tests).

Some of the points we found were like: taking a photo in a landscape position would like to make a large hole at the top or bottom of the photo, and it's better to use a portrait position. Taking photos with portrait position usually consists of 5 vertical levels, 15 horizontal points at the middle level and 5 horizontal points at the highest and lowest levels. Objects are much easier and close objects are harder to capture perfectly. We want to keep working on this Photo Sphere, and share further updates.

4. Gallery Photo Editing Tool

For us, the Photo Editing Tool is a very powerful replacement. Compared to Jelly Bean 4.1, Google has increased the features in this tool, so you hardly need another photo editing tool.

The features offered are very complete, starting from 9 filter options; 6 Border / Frame options, 4 Transform Tools (Straighten, Crop, Rotate and Mirror), Color Effects (Autocolor, Exposure, Vignette, Contrast, Shadows, Vibrance, Sharpness, Curves, Hue, Saturation, BW Filter), unfortunately there are no features accumulated text.

You can view the editing comparison of the original image by swiping the photo, and moreover, you can access the History from the editing you did from the menu button or swipe from the right of the screen. This Photo Editing Tool seems to mix the use of Instagram and simple Photoshop in Android features.

An interesting thing that we highlight is that Curves can be set in Red, Green, Blue and RGB (all of them). On the other hand, it is unfortunate that the resolution aspect offered in Crop is only 1: 1, 4: 3, 3: 4, 5: 7, 7: 5, None (without resolution aspect), and Original (original resolution aspect). We hope there are 3: 2 and 16: 9 which are quite often used as image dimensions, although we can indeed use the manual option without the resolution aspect.

5. Gmail

For active Gmail users, there are 2 new uses that are very helpful in Gmail 4. 2. 6. Developer Options
