The iPhone 11 Pro Max is a large cellphone. It's heavier than the iPhone XS Max and stands like the heaviest iPhone that Apple made. If you want a tiny feature that isn't for you, the extra weight is immediately visible, especially if you are from an older Plus or Max phone.

With everything said, I don't mind. The added weight provides satisfying weight to the features and feels reassuring. Apple has strengthened the glass on the front and back - using the new double-ion exchange, as Apple calls it - and is able to hold it submerged in 4m of water for 30 minutes.

Especially with this ‘firmer’ glass, I still placed the case on 11 Pro Max. The combination of the stainless steel rim and the glass shared the soft impression that I didn't want to be sure of myself being saved from a drop.
