The next android system is called Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, and the latest one is Oreo. You could easily say the names of the Android surgical systems. But do you know what the alibi is why Google keeps using food names for the entire Android series?
With the exception of Android A and B, Google uses the names of dishes to code names for the Android surgical system.
All of them use the name of the meal. Then, what are the names of Android A and B? For Jean- Baptiste Queru, who is one of the Android developers, Android 1. 0 does not have a code name at all. Except for type 1. 1 is given the code name Petit Four which is not alphabetical.

However, when the release of Android KitKat, Google shared a statement. Reportedly the alibi KitKat became the name Android 4.4 because at that time the Android technicians who upgraded Android 4.4 until late at night always took KitKat like a snack.
Why doesn't Google use an animal like Apple to name its macOS huh? This could be because Google wants technicians to taste the sweetness of the success of each successful surgical system they develop. Such is the benefit of dessert, right?
